Five years ago, my life took a sudden turn when my husband, who was passionate about renewable energy, passed away. Determined to honor his legacy, I took over his solar company. Despite facing a steep learning curve, I dedicated myself to managing installations, sales, and customer relations, eventually becoming the first licensed female solar contractor in my area.
Before my husband passed, I had spent many years working as an interior designer, a passion that I had to put on hold to run the solar business. As I immersed myself in continuing his dream, I found solace but also realized how much I missed my creative work. Over time, as I healed, I reconnected with my love for interior design and decided it was time to pursue my own dreams again.
With a mix of sadness and clarity, I transitioned from the solar industry back to my roots in interior design. My construction background gave me a unique edge, allowing me to blend form and function seamlessly in my designs.
This journey has been one of personal growth and self-discovery. Through loss and healing, I found a new path filled with creativity and purpose. Each design project allows me to honor the past while embracing the future, bringing a sense of fulfillment and growth.
